What makes Front Range Stone different from other fabrication companies in Colorado?
We are proud of the state-of-the-art processes and equipment in our facilities located in Englewood Colorado, and the benefits this technology provides to our customer’s countertop fabrication process from start to finish.
Digital Countertop Fabrication Process
Once you have selected the unique stone type from our wide selection of granite, quartz and more for your home, our template department will schedule a job-site measurement. The digital template system at Front Range Stone achieves accuracies unmatched by other traditional methods. Once the digital template of your project is captured our CAD department will take the digital template, insert the sink dimension and complete the digital drawing of your project.
The next step is to take a high definition photograph of your stone to capture every unique and natural characteristic. Once photographed, your stone is then barcoded with your information. Following this, our CAD department will merge your project with a slab photo. Rather than trying to imagine how your kitchen or bathroom countertop will look, our team can virtually show you a variety of layout options and stone flow in 3D. This powerful software is used to help us create and design a unique stone masterpiece for your home. From mitered aprons to book matching grains or selecting the perfect stone flow for your kitchen island the choices are unlimited. Once you have approved the stone layout your project is ready to be processed in our state-of-the-art stone facility located right outside of Denver.
Our State-of-the-Art Countertop Fabrication Facility
First, your stone will be cut on our fusion CNC saw water jet. The automated program allows the fusion to switch from cutting with a blade to piercing with a water jet whenever required. After the stone has been cut the edge detail you selected will be applied utilizing the CNC router, the Titan. The Titan is an automatic edge profile machine that will produce beautiful and crisp edge details. Utilizing diamond tools, the Titan is programed with the edge profile you have selected.
After your stone is cut, your new countertop will be ready for installation. If you are ready to upgrade your kitchen or bath countertops or have additional questions on the countertop installation process our team at Front Range Stone is available to assist you. Creating stone art for your home is our business and we look forward to helping you create a unique stone masterpiece for your home that can be enjoyed for years to come.
