For persistent stains, apply the paste and cover with plastic wrap. Let the paste sit on the stain until it dries up. Use a soft towel with warm water to wipe it off.

Reseal Your Granite Countertop
Wear and tear weaken the sealant, making granite countertops vulnerable to stains. Even with proper care, you will need to reseal your granite countertop every one to two years.
